Hong Kong’s World-Famous Party District Now in Singapore!
Gaining international renown through the 1960s film, “The World of Suzie Wong”, Wan Chai was inspired by that snazziest Hong Kong entertainment district by the same name.
Our recreation of Wan Chai Tea Room stays as true to the original as possible.
Warm lighting, tightly packed round tables and large posters of old Hong Kong will give the Tea Room’s guests a genuine feel of Wan Chai sans having to fly there. The placement of lighting was cleverly done to ensure that they don’t cast shadows over customers while air conditioning is evenly distributed to ensure that customers never get too cold or too warm.
